Amatsu - An Ancient Japanese Natural Movement Treatment

Amatsu is a soft tissue and mobilisation therapy which has its roots in traditional Japanese medicine and is based on principles of natural movement. Its priority is to relieve muscular pain, remove restrictions and improve movement. With Amatsu, by treating the whole body and not just the symptoms, the goal is to regain health, function and balance.

Treatments are suitable for people of all ages and those with limited mobility.

An Amatsu balance can help with a broad range of challenges including back, neck and shoulder complaints, digestive issues, improving circulation to muscles and other soft tissues. Reducing arthritic pain, and also aiding recovery from sports and/or other injuries.

Amatsu can also really help with reducing stress levels. As very often life's stresses mean that our bodies have to adapt and cope with tensions and strains, leading to poor posture, sluggish digestive systems and aching necks and shoulders - Amatsu helps to relieve these strains!

About Colin O’Neill - Amatsu and Orthopaedic Soft Tissue Therapist.

Many years ago, I suffered from ME/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome which I was unable to recover from using traditional medicine alone.  In my quest to recover from this condition I was led to an Amatsu therapist and it was the positive results not just physically but also emotionally that encouraged me to learn more about the body’s ability to heal and regenerate itself. I left my job in the financial services industry and set up Kokoro Clinic in 2008.

I trained and qualified as an Amatsu Therapist, TBM (Total Body Modification) and as a Reiki Master/Teacher.  In 2018 I also obtained a Higher Diploma in Orthopaedic Soft Tissue Therapy.

Join us on Monday 24th April at 7.30pm, to meet Colin and learn more about this ancient therapy!
