Why Matcha?
Matcha is a gentle way to support energy and focus throughout the day. Unlike coffee, it releases energy more slowly, helping you avoid the sharp spikes and crashes. It is also rich in antioxidants and supports a calmer, more balanced sense of alertness.
Ingredients
- 1 tsp Matcha Powder
- 200ml warm milk (dairy or plant based)
- 50ml hot water (not boiling)
- Optional a little honey or homespun chicory root syrup for a lower sugar alternative!
Method
- Add the Matcha powder to a cup or bowl
- Pour in the hot water and whisk until smooth
- Heat and froth your milk
- Pour the milk over the Matcha
- Sweeten if desired and enjoy.
Wild Poppy Top Tip - Matcha is naturally energising. So it's best enjoyed earlier in the day rather than in the evening when your body is starting to wind down.
