Each capsule of New Roots Herbal PEA contains 600 mg of palmitoylethanolamide (PEA). It is micronised to improve absorption and bioavailability. Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) is a fatty acid amide found throughout the body, and is produced endogenously in situations of cellular injury as a protective response. It was first identified in egg yolk, soybean and peanut oil in the 1950s, and was later found to be present in mammals as well.

Recommended Daily Dose:

1–2 capsules daily. Consult a health-care practitioner for use beyond 3 months. Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dose.

No adverse effects and no drug interactions have been reported.
