CONSTITUENTS
Volatile oil – alliin (0.24% of total weight), alliinase, allicin – methyl allyl sulphides, ajoene: breakdown products; scordinins; selenium; germanium; glucokinins; vitamins A,B,C and E.

Should only be given in small quantities to children.
